While a solid contingent of players in this week’s field have already punched their ticket to the Masters next week, for everyone else, the next two days could mean the difference between playing Augusta National and watching the tournament on TV.
Through two rounds, an already-exempt player leads the way: Brian Harman, the 2023 Open champion, holds a four-shot lead over his closest competitor, Keith Mitchell. A win for Harman would mark the fourth of his career, while a win for Mitchell would mark his second, and make him the last man to get into next week’s Masters field.
