WrestleMania — it’s the grandest stage of them all, and this year, it went down on Saturday, April 19 and Sunday, April 20 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Feuds months (or years) in the making finally came to a head in the two-night spectacle, with unforgettable matches that will define careers and salify legacies. While WWE continues all year round without breaks, WrestleMania essentially serves as an unofficial season finale — a culmination of storylines and heightened stakes that make it the Super Bowl of wrestling. Whether it’s championship gold, bragging rights, or spilling bad blood, scores are always settled at the annual event.

Since the inaugural WrestleMania on March 31, 1985 — watch Episode 1 of Mr. McMahon for the origin story — the annual event has only grown, drawing its biggest live audience with over a hundred thousand in attendance for WrestleMania 32, expanding to Saturday and Sunday back in 2020 with WrestleMania 36, often featuring celebrities in various roles through the years, from Pamela Anderson as Diesel’s valet at WrestleMania XI, to Kim Kardashian being a host at WrestleMania XXIV, to Bad Bunny being involved in iconic matches at WrestleMania 37 and 39.
The road to WrestleMania 41 kicked off Feb. 1, with Charlotte Flair and Jey Uso winning their respective Royal Rumble matches to guarantee themselves a championship match at the WWE’s biggest event of the year. From there, things only got wilder.
After Flair challenged Tiffany Stratton for the WWE Women’s Championship and Uso challenged Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship (despite having zero wins and three losses in head-to-head matchups), John Cena won the Elimination Chamber, earning him a shot at Cody Rhodes and a chance at a record-breaking 17th WWE Championship reign.
Of course, Cena shocked the world by viciously attacking Rhodes, setting a hostile tone en route to their long-awaited match.
