It was an under-the-radar trade deadline move when the Milwaukee Bucks acquired Kevin Porter Jr. from the Los Angeles Clippers.
It’s probably already a steal.
Porter has played in 31 games since being traded to the Bucks and has provided the necessary juice to be a difference-maker in Damian Lillard’s absence. His quickness and athleticism on the perimeter has been a huge addition to the Bucks’ defense, too.

But in his last 10 games, he’s averaged 16.4 points in 24.9 minutes, as Lillard has been out with blood clots in his left calf.
Porter averaged 9.3 points, 3.6 rebounds and 3.2 assists this season with the Clippers before the trade.

Porter didn’t play during the 2023-24 season after being charged with assault and strangulation against his girlfriend inside a New York City hotel. Porter eventually pleaded guilty to misdemeanor assault with a harassment violation, according to the AP.
