DURANT, Okla. (KXII) – Four people were arrested, and one person was rescued after a human trafficking operation in Durant Thursday.
The Durant Police Department said it came after a training session with Attorney General Gentner Drummond’s Human Trafficking Response Unit and the group ‘Skull Games.’
Nearly a dozen partnering law enforcement agencies and 24 law enforcement officers took part.
“We appreciate the collaboration of our law enforcement partners across the state to recover human trafficking victims and hold traffickers accountable for their crimes,” Drummond said.
Police said one person suspected of sex trafficking was arrested, and three others accused of soliciting prostitution were arrested.
