Denver Broncos pick Alabama LB in NFL draft fourth round

Another key member of Alabama football’s 2024 squad is NFL-bound.

Que Robinson was selected with the No. 134 overall pick in the fourth round of the 2025 NFL draft by the Denver Broncos on April 26.

Robinson was the fifth Alabama player selected in the seven-round draft, following OL Tyler Booker, LB Jihaad Campbell, QB Jalen Milroe and DB Malachi Moore. He spent five seasons with the Crimson Tide, redshirting his freshman season in 2020.

Here’s what Robinson brings to the Broncos :

Does Que Robinson fit Denver Broncos needs in NFL draft?

A former four-star prospect out of Jackson-Olin High School in Birmingham, Alabama, Robinson stands 6-foot-4 and 243-pounds. Though listed as a linebacker on the Alabama roster, NFL teams could and will likely use him as a defensive end due to his speed.

Robinson delivered his most productive season at Alabama in 2024, stepping into a starting role and emerging as one of Alabama’s most disruptive defenders before suffering a season-ending elbow injury vs. LSU on Nov. 9. He totaled 23 tackles, seven tackles for loss and four sacks in five starts and led the team in tackles for loss (7). He also forced and recovered a fumble.

Robinson played primarily on special teams until 2024, gradually earning defensive snaps while remaining a key contributor on special teams in both 2022 and 2023.

Que Robinson highlights

Per NFL.com, Robinson possesses “a ‘tweener’ body type but glimpses of pro potential.” He does lack real-game experience, with less than 400 career run/pass snaps per Pro Football Focus, but “has enough traits to warrant consideration as a four-phase special-teamer with developmental potential as a hybrid 3-4 linebacker.”

Que Robinson stats with Alabama football

In his time with Alabama, Robinson had 54 tackles, 11 tackles-for-loss and six sacks. He also had two fumble recoveries and a forced fumble.
