Japanese badminton star Chiharu Sida confessed to Chinese fans that she was “very uncomfortable and scared” to stop stalking her.

According to the South China Morning Post (SCMP) in Hong Kong on the 9th, Sidha (27), who is participating in the Asian Badminton Championships in Ningbo, China, said on social media on the 8th that she had met a stalker every time she played in China for the past year and six months.

Sidha, who won the bronze medal in women’s doubles at the Paris Olympics last year, has enjoyed immense popularity in China.

Sida is often referred to as “the most beautiful badminton player” on local social media.

Cida, who is grateful for her fans who continue to support her, said, “I was stalked every time I played in China,” and added, “It’s been going on for more than a year already. I was too afraid in the longest period,” he appealed.

“I know not all fans are like this,” he said, adding, “China is really good and I’m grateful for the fans’ support.”

However, Sida emphasized, “From now on, please stop stalking or similar activities,” adding, “If this situation continues, I think we will have to find a solution somehow.”

In November 2023, Sidha said she was “stalked and in intimate contact” by fans at the China Masters tournament in Shenzhen.

Since then, he has asked in a social media post to “keep your distance and respect both sides.”

However, Sida did not specify what damage she suffered.
