Big news for McDonald’s fans—they’re one step closer to getting their beloved snack wrap again.
The popular menu item, which was discontinued in 2016, has long been a wishlist item for fast food fans, and last year McDonald’s USA president Joe Erlinger delighted them when he announced that it was returning.
In December, Erlinger told Good Morning America that the “cult following” menu item would be back on the menu in 2025.
Fans have patiently waited for more information since then, hoping that the flour tortilla with chicken strips, lettuce, shredded cheese, and either ranch or honey mustard sauce, is just around the corner.
On April 15, the brand finally gave an update, tweeting “snack wraps 0x.14.2025.”
Though no further details were given, with McDonald’s playing coy at fans’ follow-up questions, food bloggers think they cracked the case.
Foodie influencer Snackolator shared the news on Instagram, writing, “my guess is May or June, but definitely by the summer,” prompting fans to respond “Yes I miss them they were good.”
One commenter guessed that they’ll return a little later in the year in June, while others were more concerned about the cost, asking if they’ll be the “Same price as before.”
Parade reached out to McDonald’s for comment but did not immediately hear back.
