It’s been less than a week since The White Lotus aired its season three finale, and fans are still lapping up every bit of intel they can get on what happened behind the scenes of the hit show—and what they didn’t get to see.
As far as the latter goes, series creator Mike White dropped a bombshell on Sunday’s post-show The White Lotus podcast when he revealed details about a lost sex scene. And yes, it involved one of the Ratliff kids—but this time, it was their sister Piper (Sarah Catherine Hook) who, in the unaired scene, seduced Belinda’s son Zion (Nicholas Duvernay).

Earlier in the season, Piper’s brother Saxon (Patrick Schwarzenegger) makes a comment about her being a virgin, and he turns out to be correct. After leaving her disastrous overnight stay at the monastery, Piper decides that she needs to lose her virginity and ends up meeting Zion in the restaurant.
Ultimately, however, White determined that it just didn’t fit in with the already stuffed, 90-minute finale. “It would have added 10 minutes to the thing,” he said. “And it had a little bit of rom-com vibe in the middle of trying to kill the family with the pong-pong fruits. It just felt like I was trying to do too much narratively.”
That doesn’t mean that others aren’t interested in taking a look at what ended up on the cutting room floor—including adult site CamSoda, which is willing to pay a hefty sum for the privilege. They recently sent a letter to HBO Max asking about purchasing the rights to the deleted scene for up to $500,000.
If the network’s not looking to increase their coffers, CamSoda is also offering Hook and Duvernay—the actors featured in the scene—the same sum in order “to come on the site and do a live Q&A debrief, or reenact the scene for another $500,000,” a spokesperson for the company tells Men’s Journal.

We’ve all heard the whispers—there’s a juicy, deleted scene from The White Lotus Season 3 that hornball fans are dying to see.
