Ricochet isn’t buying it.
On Wednesday, Nick Khan got a considerable amount of attention due to his appearance on The Bill Simmons Podcast. The show was notable for several reasons, including Khan’s praise of CM Punk’s professionalism, heel John Cena’s popularity, and his claim that WWE doesn’t sign and bench talent.

One remark from the interview drew the ire of many people, including Ricochet. While discussing AEW, Nick Khan said that he expected several AEW performers to sign with WWE once they are free and clear (legally and contractually) to do so.
“In terms of the other wrestling promotional company, they have a lot of talented wrestlers and we’re happy about that. When, contractually, they are available to talk to and have conversations with, assume a number of them will come over,” Khan said.
During his answer, Nick Khan also praised Shad Khan and said he respected him. However, he seemingly took a subtle dig at AEW’s Tony Khan, not only by refusing to mention him by name, but he also referred to Shad as “the father who finances it and owns the Jaguars and all those other things.”
Ricochet responded to an aggregated recap of Nick Khan’s remark and wrote the following on Twitter/X, showing his annoyance about the slight.

“Oh man, these guys fucking suck,” Ricochet wrote, along with an eyeroll emoji.
Ricochet signed with AEW in 2024, after spending six years with WWE.
