Fans have been stunned to find out what The Big Bang Theory star Simon Helberg looks like today.
From 2007 to 2019, Simon played the iconic Howard Wolowitz on the CBS sitcom, for which he won a Critics’ Choice award for best supporting actor in a comedy series.
Since then the 44-year-old has gone on to make appearances in Young Sheldon, Annette and Poker Face.
He had also previously starred in A Cinderella Story with Hilary Duff and Chad Michael Murray, George Clooney’s 2005 film Good Night, and Good Luck, and won a Golden Globe nomination for his performance as Cosme McMoon in film Florence Foster Jenkins.
But, fans of the Big Bang Theory star might be shocked to see what he looks like today compared to his character Howard.
Taking to social media, viewers pointed out that he looks completely different.
Commenting on X, @GreatCheshire wrote: ‘Still can’t stop thinking about how Simon Helberg went from looking like this in Big Bang Theory to looking like this in Annette almost immediately after finishing Big Bang Theory.’
Fellow user, @gregshipo added: ‘The thing is he really looked like that for a good amount of the show but he wore a wig.’
@AtheismJesus added: ‘Every character on big bang theory was a caricature. More to do with cartoons than real people.’
Also adding, @yungxsnoy said: ‘Didn’t realize how big of a difference a neck can make until now.’
@erebedragons echoed this comment, by saying: ‘The most aggressive and immediate glow up.’
Simon could be seen attending the AMC Networks premiere for Upfront held at Spring Studios in New York.
Some fans of the Big Bang Theory also claimed that another star looked completely unrecognisable.
Viewers pointed out how Jim Parson, who played Sheldon Cooper, looked almost like a different person after growing a beard.
Jim also played Sheldon from 2007 until 2019 in the sitcom The Big Bang Theory.
During his time on the show, he became the world’s highest-paid TV actor and is now worth an estimated $160 million (£123,000,000).
He also won four Primetime Emmy Awards for outstanding lead actor in a comedy series and the Golden Globe Award for best actor in a television series musical or comedy.
